This waterfowl was not a walk in the park by any means… We are so fortunate to have spectacular properties that continue to produce when most places do not. We were definitely down on goose numbers, but up on ducks. Not that there was that many more ducks in the area, but we spent more time focused on hunting them. All and all I would consider this a average to slow season. Here is whats next, I start guiding Striped Bass in mid March. This fishery is action packed and lots of fun for all ages. I will fish Stripers until mid to late May depending on conditions. The prime season for the Stripers is (April 1st-May 10th) so make sure to get on the books early! After Stripers I will be moving operations to southern Oregon. I will be guiding out of Gold Beach Oregon focusing on King Salmon and bottom fish/crabs. This is a remarkable place! Gorgeous weather, awesome fishing! I will be in Oregon from July 1st until August 15th. This is a great destination to get out of the California heat and enjoy sweatshirt weather in July! Below are some waterfowl highlights of the 2018/2019 season
