The Shad fishing on the Sacramento River is still remaining solid with the end coming soon. We have been landing anywhere from 30 to 100+ Shad an evening! I have also been Rainbow trout fishing on the Sacramento River. This is a new fishery for me, but has been a blast. The trout on the upper reaches of the Sacramento River offer anglers lots of action and some really good fights! I attached some photos of the trout fishing.
